5KG blocks / briquettes
As standard, coir is often supplied in pressed blocks;
- Dimensions 30x30x12cm;
- Approx. 5 kg weight;
- Moisture content<18%;
- Organic matter content>85%;
- Output after soaking 60–70 litres;
- Mixtures with coir crush and coir fibre are possible.
These blocks may be loaded separately into a container or on to pallets; they may be packed individually or together with a number of items and, if desired, provided with a sticker.In the same way, the material can also be pressed into smaller briquettes of 500, 650 or 750 grams.
50 litre bags
Our coir products may also be delivered in 50 litre bags, especially for consumer use. The material is then not pressed and not completely dried so that it may be used immediately. In sufficient quantities it may also be done under private label. If so desired the bags may be supplied on pallets. 20 whole or 40 half pallets may be loaded per 40'HC container. The products are composed of:
- 100% coir pith;
- 100 % coir crush;
- Mixtures of coir pith with coir crush;
- Mixtures of coir pith with fibre;
- Mixtures of coir pith with perlite.
Fertilisers may be added on request. The products are available in the following qualities;
- Unwashed;
- Washed;
- Buffered;
- Shakti Amla®.
Growbags
After soaking, growbags may equally be used to cultivate plants. Because growbags are delivered in compressed form, the loading per container is high, which benefits transport costs. Growbags from Shakti Cocos are produced according to your wishes;
- Lengths vary from 20 cm to 120 cm;
- Widths vary from 10 cm to 40 cm;
- Heights vary from 7 cm to 18 cm;
- Available in various mixtures with coir pith, coir crush and coir fibre;
- With or without plastic, plastic in various qualities with different UV-stability;
- With or without plant, drain, and dripper holes in the plastic and/or in the material;
- Various fertilisers may be added on request;
- Private label supply is possible.
Growbags are available in the following qualities;
- Unwashed;
- Washed;
- Buffered;
- Shakti Amla®.
Easyfill bags / Open-top bags
After soaking, Easyfill bags may equally be used equally to cultivate plants. Because Easyfill bags are delivered in compressed form, the loading per container is high, which benefits transport costs. The top is open so that the bags may serve as pots during cultivation. Shakti Cocos’ Easyfill bags are produced according to your wishes;
- Lengths vary from 10 cm to 40 cm;
- Widths vary from 10 cm to 40 cm;
- Heights vary from 7 cm to 18 cm;
- Available in various mixtures with coir pith, coir crush and coir fibre;
- Plastic in various qualities with different UV-stability;
- With or without plant, drain, and dripper holes in the plastic and/or in the material;
- Various fertilisers may be added on request;
- Private label supply is possible.
Easyfill bags are available in the following qualities;

- Shakti Amla®.
Customer Specific Products
Owing the flexible, proprietary production and the many possibilities for chemical and physical processing of coir products, in consultation with you, Shakti Cocos is able to supply a wide range of customer-specific substrates and packaging. Examples are:
- Customized products for pots and containers;
- Private label packaging;
- Special mixtures for special crops such as mixtures based on 100% coir for the cultivation of raspberries, blueberries, orchids and other crops;
- Consumer products in expanded polystyrene trays, transparent plastic with printed labels, private label, individually packaged 5 kg blocks or briquettes;
- Coir mixtures with the addition of fertilisers and other additives;
- Packages of loose, not completely dried coir mixtures in 50 litre bags or in other volumes;

Vertical Farming
An emerging way of cultivation is Vertical Farming. Shakti Cocos also offers the most suitable coir solutions for this. These may be based on glued coir fibre or on the basis of coir pith in combination with coir crush or coir fibre. In consultation with you, Shakti Cocos will develop the best substrate for your situation.
